Audaces Learning Lab
18:30 - 21:30
The Travellers Club, Pall Mall, London, United Kingdom
We are delighted to invite you to the Audaces Learning Lab organised by the Audaces Foundation
Tuesday 4th February 2014 at 6:30pm at the Travellers Club in London.
The Audaces Foundation is a response to growing calls for innovative solutions to European and global societal and environmental challenges. At the heart of this ambitious new drive is the idea only the new generations can make a difference in developing approaches to meet these challenges.
Building on its unique and diverse European network, Audaces has developed a new leadership and educational programme for the next generation of social innovators. Three different events have been designed in collaboration with European institutions and local governments over the next two years.
With the European Union’s new Research & Innovation initiative – Horizon 2020 – on the launch pad, we would like to start with a high-level roundtable debate in London on a vitally important aspect of this programme:
Philanthropy vs. entrepreneurship: the role of youth to foster social innovation
On Saturday 26th April, Audaces will gather its first nucleus of members to participate to this discussion: a group of 40 people coming from all over Europe and from different backgrounds who wants to be part of this next generation of social innovators.
Our members are predominantly young leaders, philanthropists and social entrepreneurs. They are young, disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs impatient to change the world; they are the entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of our generation; they are surprising, engaging, and hard working as well as internationally-minded, well-traveled and well connected.
We are organising a pilot of this Audaces Learning Lab together with a team of professionals from Movable^Lab and we are testing and refining the framework we will use at the official event next April.
We would be thrilled to invite you to participate to this discussion and we really hope to see you on Tuesday. The panel will start at 6:45 till 8:45, then food and drinks will follow.
